Youth Panel at the Hub

A group of local residents are keen to look at providing a track for cycles and scooters in Kelsall. Parents are currently taking their children to ‘pump tracks’ in other villages and want to explore whether a track could be developed on the Green. The Parish Council is working with residents on this project.The first step has been agreed and involves consulting with young people to find out what they want.
This is being undertaken with the Wellbeing Hub, which is setting up a Youth Panel. Panel members will talk to other young people about how to improve facilities for them.

Opportunities for young people’s activities is an issue which has been raised by people of all ages in the village and the ‘Pump track’ for bikes and scooters is one idea. Further updates on progress will follow once young people have contributed their views.
