You may have noticed the messy area at the corner of Chester Road and Church Street North.
To make a small green space more interesting for everyone passing. The plants will be good for pollinating insects, nice to look at, good to feel and smell.
We have been digging up the grass and clearing the weeds ready to plant in the autumn. Hard work and messy at the beginning in short bursts of free time. Hand digging is slow but much better for the environment than weedkillers.
We're a small group of local volunteers. Cheshire West and Chester Council Highways gave their permission. Kelsall Parish Council is providing funding.
