Kelsall Design Code consultation

We need everybody's feedback for Kelsall's Design Code NOW!

We know that significant amount of new housing will be built around Kelsall, but the Design Code will help manage the design and look of new development.

A new Design Code will be a key part of the reviewed Neighbourhood Plan. It will direct how any new development looks, by describing what is good and bad design for new buildings, landscaping and public spaces, in terms of layout, materials, general appearance, parking, etc. (Willington has its own Design Code).

Give your opinion on existing buildings and streets in Kelsall using the online platform Create Communities, using the link below. This will allow us to tailor design rules to residents' preferences.

• Select any areas or individual buildings within the circle, that you think are good or bad examples for further development, and give the reasons for your choice. Please make sure that you indicate precise buildings or address to relate the rules to the right place.

• You can also click on the examples we have listed – blue circles – and make comments on those buildings / areas.
