The Parish Council receives a lot of complaints about speeding in the village. We have done two things to help to improve the situation:
We have got our PCSO to do regular speed camera sessions in different locations, which is leading to fines and points,
and we have acquired two speed guns for the use of Kelsall Community Speedwatch. We now need volunteers to do some speed monitoring. The more the community does, the more evidence we shall accumulate and the more effort the police will put into enforcement.
If you are concerned about the level of speeding in the village, if you have complained, now is the time to step up and do something about it by doing a few one hour shifts with a colleague and a speed gun. We are trained so you won't be on your own and what you have to do is dead simple.
Please do your bit to help make Kelsall a safer village and contact Humphrey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
